Snowden at Fredericksburg is dedicated to improving the overall quality of health for all members of the community. An important piece of improvement is information. Snowden at Fredericksburg continues to help provide people with general information to help community members understand more about Mental Health.
In today’s high stress world understanding mental health is critical. Many of Snowden's Associates are involved in related community organizations such as YouthFirst, the Prevention Planning Partnership,Mental Health America, volunteering at Moss Free Clinic, volunteering to speak to students at local schools, and serving on a variety of State-wide committees, to name a few.
Snowden works hard to ensure our customers understand the facts about mental health, but also how one can utilize their own personal resources in managing their mental health symptoms once they transition from our continuum of care into the community. We do this through traditional group therapy and education, as well as through adjunctive therapy groups to include art therapy, music therapy, and movement therapy.
Snowden strives to ensure each member of the community is empowered to maintain their mental wellness.
